Story :

Lena loved to explore. Every afternoon after school, she wandered through the meadows behind her house, imagining secret worlds hidden in the tall grass. One day, as she followed a winding path, she spotted an old wooden gate covered in ivy. A small, hand-painted sign hung from the top: “Welcome to the Invisible Zoo.”

“A zoo? Here?” Lena whispered, pushing the gate open.

She stepped inside and gasped. There were no cages, no enclosures—not even a single animal in sight! Just trees, flowers, and a gentle breeze that tickled her ears. Disappointed, she was about to turn back when a soft rustling sound stopped her.

“Hello?” she called out.

“Hello!” a deep voice rumbled back.

Lena spun around. Nobody was there. She held her breath and listened closely. A low growl came from the bushes. Then, a playful chattering echoed from a nearby tree. Suddenly, she felt a warm breath on her hand—as if something invisible had just sniffed her fingers!

“You can’t see us,” the voice chuckled, “until you believe we’re here.”

Lena closed her eyes and listened. She imagined a mighty lion with a golden mane lounging under the tree, a cheeky monkey swinging above her, and a tall giraffe bending down to greet her. When she opened her eyes, her imagination had come to life! Right in front of her stood a grand, roaring lion, his mane shimmering like sunshine.

“Wow!” Lena whispered. “I can see you now!”

“That’s because you’re listening with your heart,” the lion said, his deep voice filled with kindness. “Most people rush through life without truly seeing what’s around them.”

As Lena walked through the zoo, more animals appeared. A shimmering peacock fanned its glowing tail. A zebra with glittering silver stripes trotted past. High in the sky, a magnificent eagle soared, its wings leaving behind a trail of sparkling dust. Every time she listened carefully, another invisible creature revealed itself.

Hours passed like minutes. Lena played with a mischievous baby panda who tumbled into her lap. She helped a sleepy sloth climb a tree and even rode on the back of a friendly elephant, feeling the warm wind rush past her face.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, a wise old owl fluttered onto a branch above her. “The Invisible Zoo appears only to those who believe in the magic of imagination,” he hooted. “Promise you’ll come back, and it will always be here.”

Lena smiled. “I promise.”

She waved goodbye to her new animal friends and stepped back through the wooden gate. As soon as she turned around, the zoo vanished into the twilight—but she knew it would always be waiting for her, just beyond the gate, in the world of her imagination.

That night, as Lena lay in bed, she whispered, “Goodnight, Invisible Zoo,” and drifted into dreams filled with roaring lions, dancing peacocks, and a world only she could see.
