Then, he spotted something—a pile of fluffy white wool left behind by a sheared sheep. A sly grin spread across his face.
“Perfect! If I look like a sheep, I can get close without anyone noticing!”
The wolf wrapped himself in the wool, blending into the flock. He mimicked their gentle bleating, taking slow, careful steps among them.
At first, no one suspected a thing. The shepherd glanced at the flock, counted the sheep, and saw nothing unusual.
